Gameday thread: Stars @ Wild, Nov. 26

First and foremost, I would like to appologize to everyone about forgetting the last two gameday threads. Despite my hectic schedule last week, I should have remembered the threads. Since I usually post these threads 1 to 2 days before the actual game (unless it's back-to-back), just like I told ceber, if it's the gameday and it's not up yet, by all means if you notice I forgot post one.

Minnesota's record 8-10-3.
Dallas' record 9-10-3.

Would be nice to beat the team that left the twin cities every time they come back... I'll say 4-3 Wild.

Goals by Dupuis 2, Burns and Brunette.

No they are still not back to the way they normally play even for Dalles.

i say 2-1 wild
Is anyone else a little worried about Gaboriks preformance he isn't produce is it because he is out of shape.
Dallas is also looking a little shaky exept the last game 5-2 win against the coyotes but yet again it is the coyotes

Gaborik has looked better since his penalty shot goal. Granted he looked pretty horrible before that, but I think he'll come around eventually. It doesn't help that the entire team seems a bit out of whack.

The bottom line was that he missed training camp and a month of the season. Sure, he trained during the offseason (mostly "cured" his injuries from last year), played some games with Trencin, and shot the puck around with Dupuis, but it's not the same.

Holdouts typically have subpar seasons so it shouldn't surprise anyone if that happens. But if Maid Marian can get his confidence rolling, who knows?

Wild get back on track tonight against a hated foe!

Wild win 3-1

Gabby gets his confidence back and scores 2

Brunno gets 1

Who's going to be in net tonight?

I think this one's a tough one to call. Typically, we play the Stars pretty well at home. Stars have been struggling though, and we also typically seem to find a way to give struggling teams a good shot at winning the game. 'Course, we've been struggling, too. Hmm.

Wild 3, Stars 2.

Scoring for the Wild: Daigle, Brunette, Laaksonen.

As for Gaborik, he would be in the form of somebody coming out of preseason, given his number of games. My guess is that he'll be stepping it up and be back in form come December.
