Didn't see it, just got to hear it, but yeah that Camper kid is good. Sucks to lose the way we did on a bad clear and a scrum but the effort was there and the fight they showed to tie it was huge. Can't really say much bad about it, just gotta learn to clear the puck right. If we get this kind of effort all year, some special things could happen in the Granite City.
There's no shame losing to Miami; they're a deep team that will obviously be playing a purpose this year. I'd be pretty pleased as a Husky fan with last night's game. St. Cloud definitely had the toughest opener of anyone.
Come on Huskies you were the only WCHA team to lose last nite. Tough draw right off the bat like that but it sounded like they played well enough to win.Hopefully your guys turn the table tonite.

Yeah it's amazing when you play the #1 ranked team in their building vs a weak ass Merrimack squad
Gotta hammer home some PP goals against Union this weekend, but the D and the goalteanding were good except for a few mistakes that cost us. They will learn and be better for it down the road. The potential these guys have makes me excited.
Had to get that win last night. Good to see 3 PP goals as well and Lee's first college win.
Interesting that we have 8 goals from 8 scorers this year, not just the Roe and Lasch show although they will determine how far we go.

I think St. C's depth will serve them well this year. True, Roe and Lasch will be the straws that stir the drink, but they finally have the luxury of having other guys to pick up the slack if they have an off night.
Defense has always been seen as the Achilles heel of the Huskies. I think if the D plays to their potential then that will be the determining factor for the team's success.
And you give me crap about a weak ass Merrimack team.Frickin Union.
Union is better than they are given credit for. Also with us, we have a hard time getting "big name" teams to play us because Motzko insists on a return date at the NHC and a lot of them won't do it, so we're stuck playing Union, QU and Brown.
It does get a little better, we have Miami coming and UNH as well, but just once I'd like to see BC, BU, Michigan, Notre Dame etc. come into the NHC.
And condolences to Motzko who lost his dad on Thursday.

Sorry to hear that.
The SIOUX have Ohio St. and Miami coming in Thanksgiving weekend. It would be great if Miami and UND were ranked 1 and 2 then like they are now.Hopefully the SIOUX can take care of those CCHA boys.
Needed the win, glad we got it. Amazing to see the scoring depth this team is starting to generate.
As for Hanowski, I've only seen 2 games so I can't judge much other than to say he's a freshman, and he's going to have some rough games but he was apparently very good this weekend and looking like he's starting to figure it out. I'm also sure playing on a line with a guy you've played with your whole life (Jared Festler) probably helps.

Thanks... Does anyone know if the Huskies will be coming on TV or streaming their games anytime soon?

All of our home games are streamed on the B2 network, $7 a game, and the quality is pretty good. Next time we'd have games on TV is in two weeks when they are up at UND, if you have the FCS package, it will be on one of those channels. I think the games @ DU are on there as well, and the Gopher games would be on FSN North or the FCS channels in January.
