Am I the only one who laughs histerically when watching that hit?

I mean I watched the game last night and couldn't stop laughing, he got nailed.

Hamel gets hit about 3 feet outside the blueline and the next time he hits the ice, he's 5 or 7 feet inside the blueline! lol

Phaneuf and Hamel could enter the Olympics long jump with that stunt.

It's hilarious. The .gif looks like a fatality in Mortal Kombat. All you need is Hamel falling into a pit full of spikes.

Haha...I'm sure Hamel even made the "EUUHHHHHHHH" noise after being hit. If anyone could make a YTMD page with this and have the mortal kombat sound effects in the back...he'd basicaly be a god.

Agreed...this 'kind' of makes up for watching all those Spezza vs. Souray/Theodore goal highlights that i've seen 10000 times since it happened.

Well maybe not quite.

Komisarek's no Phaneuf offensively, but don't forget what he did to Thornton in the 2004 playoffs. Hardest hit I'd seen a Canadiens defenceman dish out since Robinson.

Phaneuf makes Komisarek look like Mike Ribeiro.

Komisarek is no Phaneuf no matter what way you look at it.
