The 2 minutes to Downey is for charging according to nhl.com

I agree he went to the board but didn't even touch the player, he hit the board...

He's got great acceleration, but I don't know where it went.

Shanahan should have signed with us. We'd be in top shape.

Samsonov hasn't shown anything so far. It's starting to become a trend.

You think? Not from my perspective. Lines 1 and 3 stood out. The second--ugh! And the fourth, just not bringing the energy. I'm a patient man though and will wait it out, hoping these guys come together.

Begin had 3 shots on goal man. And they had a flurry of chances to end the period.

Looking at Neil and Downey arguing in the box makes me wish one of those NHL guys sitting with them puts out a book of juicy anecdotes!!

I have Cogeco and although I don't have RDS yet, it says that it's on channel 522.

At this point, we'd be in better shape with Kostitsyn on that line. But Shanahan had another team that was interested. Really wondering how many teams were really interested in Samsonov.....I don't think Detroit was too happy to lose Shanahan. But know a lot of fans in Edmonton happy to lose Sammy......

You probably have digital cable. I have regular cable and NHL Center ICE is offering free preview for October. That's what you're watching. Once November comes you're out of luck.

This is day and night as far as PK is concerned. We're so aggressive and that's exactly how it needs to be played!!! Great job Carbo!
