Ronning rejects offer from Nashville.

Per 104.5 the zone and Willy and George. It was a 2-way and Ronning wasn't a big fan of that.

Why would we offer him a 2-way contract.......I mean, seriously, even underperforming the guy would almost undoubtedly be worthy of a spot on the roster.

This shows how little we wanted Ronning. We would let him back on the team, but on our terms only. Besides, we don't need more playmakers; we need goal scorers.

I hope you're not holding your breath for us to aquire this "goal scorer".

Offering him a 2-way was an insult.

Just my opinion though.

I'm not holding my breathe for us to do anything. I think we are content with sitting by, trying to make the playoffs, and letting the new CBA sort things out for us.

He's not angry. He knows we're lucky to just have NHL hockey here, he knows management isn't going to spend money to make the product better so he goes just to enjoy the NHL, wins are just bonuses.

Look, nobody else has thought enough of the Rat to offer ANY contract. A two-way should not be considered an insult under those circumstances.

I would rather be patient and wait for Shish (who may just need a couple of more months) or give Pivko a try (or some other prospect) than waste a roster spot on Ronning. There-- I said it.

Bad time to trade him. He's played really poorly lately. If you are going to trade him, wait till he has a pointstreak going.

I'd rather watch him watch the game from the pressbox.

Cause we have so many other options at center. Like that great goal scorer Arkhipov.

No, casue he's is doing nothing offensively, and IMO, he will never do anything remotely great offensively.

We don't have any other options at center? Are you considering Legwand a viable center option right now? Cause the way he is playing, we could *easily* get someone for cheap to perform at his level or better, for example, Ronning, Knusten, ETC

Then what trade value do you think he'd have. Besides, dulzhok, then you couldn't always put him down on this board. Or would you move to Leggy's new team's board?

I don't want Ronning here either, not even on a two-way. Used to like him but he really turned out to be a Rat after he was gone.
