Martin Houle

Did Martin Houle get injured last night? I saw in the box score that he was pulled in the 2nd period letting in 1 goal on 17 shots so I'm assuming an injury of some kind.

"Houle played the first 29:28 of the game before leaving with a leg injury. He made 16 saves on 17 shots in the no-decision. Beauchemin earned the win in relief, making 23 saves on 25 shots in 35:32."

Thanks.

Hopefully it's not a major injury for Houle. Otherwise it's a great opportunity for Beauchemin to get a lot of playing time.

Well that could be anything from a couple of weeks to a couple of months depending on the severity of it. That said the Phantoms might be going with Beauchemin and Munro for a while. Given that it sounds like Houle is the number 3 and Beauchemin is the number 4, Rejean needs to take advantage of this and play very well.

The Phantoms recalled Scott Munro from Trenton.

Bad news for the Phantoms as Beauchemin went down in the first period yesterday with an injury.

Anyone have an injury update on either Houle or Beauchemin?
