We're one injured D-Men away from...

sadly, Traverse has a 2-way deal and won't be eligible for re-entry waivers

I always wondered what it'd be like seeing him play with Ron Hainsey..

actually, a 1-way or two-way deal mean nothing, it's is salary when he play in AHL that count for that, don't know what is it, but maybe somewhere between 80K and 100K

It does mean something cause everybody with a one-way NHL deal is per definition, making more than the maximum salary allowed (which I think is 95 000$) for being exempt of the re-entry waivers.

I meant that the 1-way or 2-way deal mean nothing in the sense that if you have have 1-way deal, you're eligible, if you have 2-way deal, you can still be eligible if you make high AHL money,
so 2-way deal doesn't automatically exempt someone from re-entry waiver

I thought re-entry waivers was only last year. Not in the CBA for this year. A player can be plucked on the way out of the NHL but not back in. Who studies the CBA and can verify?
