After playing an NHL game then flying from Buffalo to Tampa and playing the next night, it's pretty tiring. Hell, it's pretty tiring for me when I just fly from WNY to Florida regardless of playing hockey, and I'm younger than Mika.
I agree, it's especially hard on goalies who lose a ton of fluids in the course of a game. Even though they replace the fluids, it still takes time to recover. A case could be made for starting Noronen to see if he can handle it, but with a fresh Biron waiting in the wings, I don't think this is the time for it. Noronen's got a good thing going. I'd hate to see it ruined because his reflexes are slightly off.
Colorado isn't really having goaltending problems, Aebischer has been playing really well. If they do make a move, it'll be later in the season and they will certainly want a veteran goalie. I don't see why they'd want Biron. They already have two young goalies.
