OT: The Official "Thrashers arent playing so things are slow" Thread

So yeah ... anyone have anything productive to tell us since the Thrashers have A BAZILLION days off until their next game, and things have been really slow here today.

So lets lighten things up with a banana

Only two more days! Nothing productive on my end but I finally got my first ever fantasy football win, improving my record to 1-5 on the year. I'm feeling STRONG now.

I'm also over 4000 in this vbookie thing The canadiens game tonight paid out at 2.20

Gotta love some of the newer additions to those, my favorite being

But I think we all know where the best/more edgey/most hilarious smilies reside.
Hell, the comments on there crack me up as much as the images themselves.

I also betted on the Habs, because I was pretty sure that they would rock on the PK again. 400 vbucks turned into 960.

try having 4 fantasy teams...that'll keep ya busy!!

2 of mine are winning their leagues so far... i'm especially proud of the one where we had a live draft cuz all the guys there are really hard core and were making fun of me and asking why i was invited

i wish we had a nelson smilie, complete with sound: "haaa haaa!"

yeah, i know it's early in the season, but i'd rather be winning than losing no matter what time it is

I haven't been there for a while actually.. HF is enough for me.

Gamera is right - if you've got enough fantasy hockey teams, every NHL game is interesting.

EDIT: Wow, the Caps are just killing Florida. 5-1, 15 minutes into the game.

I'm not really good at fantasy, though, because I hate "liking" it when someone playing against the thrashers does well LOL...I benched Bertuzzi the other night for that reason But I kept Ward in for the Carolina game....ya gotta draw the line somewhere I guess LOL

My problem now is I never freakin' sleep!! I finally got Center Ice to work at my house and now I watch the west coast games that don't even start until 10:30...not that I'm complaining, but I just wish I was more alert on weeks of nights with <5 hrs sleep

I suppose I'll sleep when I'm dead LOL

Looking forward to tomorrow night!! YAAAY!

Hey L32, when are you planning trip here? Y'all can still stay in my guest room anytime!!! Save your pennies for the PLAYOFFS!!

Your guest room isn't the one with the boa in it, is it?

OT: Leafs just lost 1-4 to Avs. I miss Pat Quinn chewing on that gum. The young fella they got now is pretty faceless compared to Quinn. Still want to beat 'em though. They got it coming after last year.

I just found out that a buddy of mine it at work is good friends with Bryan Little. He says that he plays pickup hockey with him every Christmas and hes gonna ask if I can go with him this year.

I think it would be really cool to play with Little, I mean all I would do is be on the ice, maybe skate a little bit and get the hell out of the way if he decided to shoot.

slater23fan, talk to your man Slates, he's getting into Savard territory with the stupid penalties. A little counceling is in order I think. You can schedule some minutes right after his meeting with Hartley.
