Hopefully these trades lights a fire under the team's collective lazy ass and see that there is some commitment to winning. This is now up to Hartley and the boys. Waddell has come through on his side and got the two things everyone has been *****ing about all year, a puck moving defenseman, and a legit number one center to play with Kovy. Some may argue he overpaid, but at least he got them. Now its up to the team to prove they can do it.
hey did you ever score a ticket for the game?? or is that why the missus is driving you crazy?
Ahh. I missed the question.
Nope, I failed to get the ticket. And even though we lost, I really would've liked to have gotten the tickets...just to see the Thrash. Now I have to wait three years.

On another note, has anyone here ever seen the movie F***ing Åmål (Show Me Love)? I just saw it today. It's in Swedish, with English subtitles, but it was an absolutely fantastic movie. It really gets you thinking.

If you go to Bonnaroo, go see these guys. To me, the best band making music in America today.
they've been around 20+ years and have 8-10 albums out plus a bunch of other stuff.
To show you how good I think they are, I flew 11 hours to Paris, France, stayed there for 24 hours to see them play a teeny venue and then flew back another 11 hours the next day to go back to work.
