Well if we can contain the Havlat line we will be in good shape. I see this one having quite a few goals in it...oh course I thought the Habs/Calgary game would see 3 goals tops, so what do I know!

GO HABS GO!!!!!!!

nice work Shabutie... we can't wait forever for the GDT.

I still think you should go back to the bald-theo-falling-down-the-stairs avatar though.

Good work on getting the GDT up.

I'll go with a 4-2 Habs win. Lats gets his first NHL goal tonight.

I refuse to post in this impostor's GDT. (Except for this post ... and maybe a few more tonight when the game starts.)

I n00bed it and deleted that off of my PC. Btw if someone is a sponsor of the site, and can make a GDT with the HTML coding, this GDT would look alot better.

I get the feeling Aebischer will play very well.

3-1 Habs

GOALS: Perezhogin, Koivu, Streit

Aebischer makes a HUGE statement by shutting out the Hawks.

Montreal 3, Chicago 0.

Koivu, Higgins, Perezhogin.

I'm just joking around. The GDT looks great. But if we lose tonight, I will make a motion on these boards that you are never again to make a GDT for a Habs vs. Hawks game in October.

It's still good.

A little variety sometimes is good.

And really as long as we get a GDT at least 12 hours before the game starts we're all going to be OK cause us Habs fan love our GDT's...

Tonight is hard to tell. Either we're tired and our third line can't contain The Havlat Show, or we're not tired and our third line can contain The Havlat Show, and then we give them a very ugly beating.

I have 100 vBucks on the game of course.

Should be an easy game. I never predict those kind of stats habitually, but after looking at their 2nd line and bottom 2, and their D...

Habs 6
Hawks 2

(Kovalev twice, Plekanec 1, Koivu 1, Latendresse 1 and Markov 1. 3 assists for Samsonov)
(Handzus one, Cullimore 1)

I bet on another game instead of this one. For some reason Florida are underdogs against Washington, and the odds were too good to pass up.

As for the game itself. Havlat should be a real big threat, I see Johnson having more facility in covering him than Bonk.

A little worried about the fatigue factor for tonight's game... the season is young though, hopefully the team shows up in a good mood after the kind of performance they gave last night!

5-2 Habs!

Don't make the mistake of taking the Hawks lightly, lads. And Khabibulin has hurt the Habs in the past.

I agree that Chicago is a very solid team. But as much as Khabi has been good against the Habs, Aebi has been great against the Hawks! According to Canadiens.com, 3 of Aebischer's 13 career shutouts have come against Chicago!

I'll say 4-3
For the habs, but ith last nights game I guessing they will have a hard time pulling this one off.
They are going to rely on Ab's alot.
