Hoew many people think the bolts will score at least 4 goals? I do and just bet 500 on it.

Jones and Meyer also need to go-they are not everyday nhl players. Trade knuble while he has a pretty high value. what are the chances avery ends up on this team?
Kane's been pretty decent for a fourth line scrub. I'm ready to see what he and Eager can do with the limited time they get.

I just realized they have Sanderson on the 4th line? I don't buy it at all since he has been one of their better players. Sratch Kane and insert robataile and it make sit a lot better. I would also like to see Umberger moved back to center and take over the role of shut down type. He did it with the phantoms and di dit very well. Not sure we have the personal to have that type of line though:-Umberger-Kappenen. Right now this team as no direction as to what they want to be. Create the lines and let them play for more than 3 shifts before you break them up. I would put:
Umberger-Carter-Eager
Gagne-Forsberg-Ruzicka
Calder-Richards-Knuble
Sanderson-Robataile-Kapanen

Oh crap, I forgot this game was on TSN.

I'm watching it on mute. I can't stand to listen to McGuire and Miller butt-**** the Sabres and endlessly mention how crappy and slow the Flyers are.

I know it's true, I just can't stand to listen to these guys enjoy it.

So apparently it's been 8 straight regular season losses to Tampa Bay.

The last win against them would have been game 6 of the ECF in 2004, and the last regular season win I guess would be sometime in the 2002-2003 season.

Yikes.

Yikes.
yes, they've owned us. game 6 remains one of the better "i was there" moments in my life.

i'm baffled about Sanderson on the 4th line. let Kapanen center that line (he's done it before) and i liked the seeming chemistry between Sanderson and Richards. as i've said before, the back-up scorers have been getting chances, just not burying 'em.

i'm sorta shocked about Meyer, i thought he looked like he was getting more comfortable carrying the puck and whatnot.

For those who need it:

LIGHTNING RADIO LINK: www.620wdae.com

The WIP link has sports talk. Looks like NHL Radio isn't working yet again.

Well, it took McGuire 3 seconds to mention that the Flyers are slow... wow, I'm looking forward to this broadcast.

They visited with Richards, who told them that his comments the other night were from the heart. He told them that he cares about this team, and he wants to be part of the solution, not part of the problem.

I think everyone is looking a little nervous and holding their sticks too tight.

If they can get out of the first without allowing a goal, I think they'll be ready to come out hard in the second.

It's like it's the first NHL game for everyone.
