That was pretty funny....BUT there's also links to the Flyer line brawl(s) against the Sens along with Hextall vs Chelios and Hexy vs Potvin.

We talk about what's wrong with the Flyers of today....just watch the Flyer vs Ott brawl....and think of our lineup and the apparent unwillingness to defend each other.

AH the good ol days!

I don't mean to troll, I just watched the video and it was hilarious, but do you think that was kinda a shot at hockey. I don't know what context he did that skit in, but was he making fun of how easy he thinks hockey is and how lazy he thinks hockey players are? I don't know his feelings on the sport, but the video was def one of the funniest i've seen in a while..

You thought about that way too much. If he wanted to rag on hockey, he could have gone in a completely different direction. Carell is a hockey fan:

Quote:
PLAYBOY: Is it true that you're a longtime amateur hockey player?

CARELL: Yeah. A few years back I joined a men's league in Burbank. We're the Sharks. We're very bad, but we have a good time with it. What I lack in physical ability I make up for in poor coordination. Surprisingly, for an amateur hockey league, people get hurt all the time. It's a combination of the pure lack of skill and all those sharp skates and sticks. It's a bunch of middle-aged guys of varying degrees of being out of shape trying to recapture their youth. It's a recipe for disaster. I've chipped my two front teeth and dislocated and broken and strained and pulled all sorts of things. And that's playing just once a week. You can pack a lot of pain into a one-hour hockey game.

No, I don't read Playboy for the articles! (I don't even read it for the pictures, they're overrated.) I found it googling "Steve Carell hockey."
