buffalo may have the best record in the NHL but they are not the best team.....SJ, Anahiem, Dallas, Edmonton, Minny are better than Buffalo by a large margin.....if this is the best we can do, we are in trouble this year..

Carbonneau needs to shorten the bench to three lines and 4 or 5 defenders.
Huet needs to shutdown the Sabres for the rest of the game.

I do not want to see Murray Begin or Lat on the ice for the duration of the game, not that they are playing poorly but the Habs need to think offence.

I think we can still win this game, or at least tie. But we can't make any mistakes against these Sabres, or they'll make us pay. (I think they scored on all the major mistakes we did so faR)
Briere was Koivu's man and he let him go..gave him too much space right in the slot to fire a quick release. Can't blame Huet.

Most of us have been around since Buffalo lost games to "extremely crappy teams" on a regular basis.

I don't think 1 loss will crash the bandwagon.

If a lot of the new guys are trolls, I'd prefer they left anyways.

Sorry for some of the guys that have offended you.

Please don't judge us all, based on a few.

You guys don't deserve to be down 3-0. Montreal has a great team, and this game is far from over.

Good luck in the third. (Please, no more then 2 goals though)

anyhoo...
i'll agree to disagree with you cause u're gonaa bash him 82 out of 82 games this season
I haven't bashed him...I've said that we have a hotter goalie in Aebischer, which we do... Carbs is soon to realize that.

I agree! Abby let in how many goals last game? oh yea, FIVE! I mean I guess it's wrong for us to think the Habs can score eight goals every game...

By the way, this whole Aebi vs Huet thing is crap. They're both pretty good goalies, each with different strengths and weaknesses. It's completely idiotic to say that if Aebi was in tonight things would be different. Weren't we down 3-0 in the first against Colorado? We're playing a hell of a team tonight and haven't had any breaks. It's that simple. Let's hope we make it at least close in the 3rd.

I disagree... I think SJ is better than Buffalo but those other teams are only even.

Ya ehhh, did you see how we played in the first period against the Avs? We're playing much better tonight and that's not saying much.

I don't think we're playing against a great team. We're playing against a great system, they are all Sundstroms.....in a good way, all making the little things so right it's scary. Mr. Ruff knows how to coach a team.......

And they have a OK goalie.......

You're right...Souray did hit the cross bar on the opening faceoff to the PP they had in the second period. Game of inches and they're not going in tonight. Higgins had the breakaway and deked the D and then flipped it wide from Miller. Ryder had some chances as did Kovalev. Miller is stellar tonight, but still hasn't been tested enough IMO. Let's pepper him in the third.

Trolls are inevitable.

As far as the score of the game.... it's just one of those games where all the bounces are going for 1 team, in this case Buffalo. What can you do... Decent game though

Whine! Whine! Whine! The fact is we are being beaten by a better team. What concerns me most is our defense...we need big time help there and until we get it we'll be lucky to be playing 500 hockey. Also, Huet concerns me this year. He just doesn't look confident...well, who wouldn't be with a defense like ours.
