With all the injuries at center he would be a nice fit playing with Palffy and Frolov. Later in the year if we get everyone back he can play LW as well. I love Belanger but he just isnt a first line center.

We already tried this guy. Was a total bust for us. Don't want to see him again.

Well, he really didn't have too much time to find his place on the team, but you're right, he sure didn't look good when he was here.

He wasnt all that bad the first time around especially since he didnt get to play on the top line. Pirnes hasnt shown any real offensive abilities and I'd rather have Ronning or Belanger centering Luc and Klatt and drop Pirnes back down to the 4th line. This team needs some huge help for the second PP unit which has done absolutely nothing all year.

Well, Andy is still the coach and I don't think that Ronning fits into the Kings system. I would rather give the shot to Squid.

hopefully Stumpy will be back soon...so he can fill the spot, but as for Ronning the guy was awful when he played for us...when ever he would go into the boards it looked like he was scared of getting hit.....no thanks, if we are going to get a center it will be someone with some grit...hopefully

Don't forget that Ronning asked to be traded from the Kings when we had him

I would go with the passers on this one too. Not impressed and while I didn't think that Mr Belagner had a very good night and that he has always looked a bit out of place centering a scoring line that I would rather give the ice time to him and the squid or one of our other players before signing someone that we would have to deal with once everyone is healthy.

He asked for a trade after only 14 games? It had to be even less than that because he was aquired right before the deadline.

Huh? He was traded at the deadline, then became a UFA...where was the trade demand?

He had another year on his contract (or an option) and LA traded him to Minnesota.

I have never heard anything about a trade demand though.
