They appear to be. There are glimpses of what we can expect in the future but the consistancy and experience are shown to be lacking every now and again. Hopefully towards the end of the season, these rookies will hit their stride and the new veterans will have found their place on the team and we might have a chance to fight for the playoffs once we establish some strength as a team. As for Don Lever, well, I'm not a fan of his. Maybe he'd do better with a more experienced team, but with all the constant change (both between and during games) I find it hard to imagine rookies having an easy time adapting to a new league and new teammates. I think time will solve a few of the issues regarding individuals play but as far as the team goes, as a Military officer once said of a recruit: "he has a full six-pack, but lacks the plastic thingy to hold it all together". Hopefully Lever can find a few 'plastic thingies' for the team. Failing that, glue, cement or a sturdy box (preferably not of the 'penalty' variety as the team already spends
way too much time in those).
