Alain Chantelois dit le Baron-Comments on MTL Crowd

I just saw Alain Chantelois dit le Baron on interview on RDS. I will repeat some of his comments....

Tous ceux qui ont hué Théodore sont des caves et je dirais même des mangeux de (he stops talking for a few seconds) , mangeux de marde.

translation

All those who booed Théodore are stupid and I would even add that they are s-h-i-t eather (straight translation).

According to him, Théodore is a perfect guy inside and outside the ice and did nothing negative to the Montreal Canadians

From what I heard from those who were at the Bell Centre there was not only a few guys who were booing Theodore, at least a few thousand...so the Habs fan are morons and (insert insult here).

Always fun to get insulted by a guy on a private channel

Now I remember how complaisant were the Montreal media with Jose Théodore...For a guy who were at a hotel with Paris Hilton when his wife with his 3 months old kid were at his house, I am not sure that he is a perfect guy.

Théodore always blaming others for his mistakes, the way that he uses to media to deal his contracts, his weak performances from last year, his arrogant attitude, his reputation off the ice....

Is that is the perfect goaltender , God I would take a other one.

I agree with your disarray but just keep in mind that Alain Chantelois, or "the Baron" as he enjoys to be called in his own fantasy model of himself, is hands down the worst "analyst", ever... and I use the word analyst loosely.

His commentaries are utterly insignificant, without any substance and/or absolutely moronic. I honnestly don't understand how he is still working for RDS, or achieving any task involving higher cerebral functions for that matter.

My theories on his employment are the following:

1) By an incredible serie of extremely unlikely events, no one working from RDS ever actually watched his show, the latter would obviously have caused an automatic firing from the network

2) He's an absolute genious pulling an elaborate joke on us, wanting us to investigate the situation, embark on an epic quest to better discover our inner-selves and our latent frustrations

I go with #1
I'm so full of hate....

Alain Chantelois has always been in the same category as Gaston Thérrien, Michel Villeneuve, Jean Pagé and Michel Bergeron. Clueless idiot that should shut up about hockey.

He SOMETIMES makes good points but it's shadowed by his overwhelming stupidity.

i filled out a complaint on rds.ca !

that was so unprofessional and is inexcusable coming from a network like RDS.

if someone has the email of an RDS executive, i'd appreciate it as well.

I really have nothing against freedom of speech and I will always defend it...but when you call your own customer ''mangeux de marde'' , you can't accept this as a customer.

Good job on filling a complaint, maybe RDS will understand something....

If you want to fill a useful complaint, do it on this website

He should go on 110%. Would be interesting to see him and Villeneuve go at it.

Or him and Gregoire

I believe in freedom of speech, but feel I should be the sole arbiter of who has acess to it.

Send a message via MSN to Vicious
"Un premier que j'echangerais c'est Koivu. Ya pas d'esprit d'equipe."

To me, Alain Chantelois will ALWAYS be the dumbass that said that. (it was after the Ribeiro-Koivu incident)

The guy from the Quebec radio station (Jeff Fillion) never insulted those who were listening his show.

But you can be sure that if he would have say that, he would have received a ton of complaints, more than the Baron will ever received since Jeff Fllion was under heavy surveillance.

The Baron can have any opinions he wanted and that is absolutely right. He can say that he disagree with the reaction of the crowd. But saying that they are mangeux de marde is unacceptable.

So because he gaves 50k to St-Justine we have to forget all his past, his extremely soft play, the fact he doesn't seem to like hockey, his trip to Europe after his sudden injury, the fact that he always putting the blame on somoene else etc to only name a few....

Even if Doug Weight would give all his money to a children hospital, guess what, the Edmonton fans would still boo him.

Brisebois is probably a nice guy in real life but probably one of the worse sportive personality that I ever saw

I just like when somebody calls other people "mangeux de marde" "totons" "maudits caves" and then talk about the lack of class.......

Obviously those guys wants interviews from those guys or wants to some specials with them. They saw the treatment Theo gave to the TQS guy because of that camera that Villeneuve sent in front of his home, so RDS want to play the good guys here.....

Talk about a great class when the whole crowd needs to pay for the 1000 people who booed them......

And I'm sorry Chantelois but when you say that Brisebois had his best years with us, let just say that his best year as far as points are concerned were with the AVS.....And to say that because of everything those guys did with us, they didn't deserve it, well Theo won that Boston round by himself, and yes he had a great season winning those trophies, though this is chosen by human and other people didn't agree with that choice but then what has he done for us to show that much respect???? And Brisebois is a cup winner so we should applaud him? I forgot, true that with his 0 goals and 4 assists in the 93 Cup, he helped us win a whole deal.....Éric Desjardins would've deserved the greatest of ovation if Brisebois deserved some applause.....

I dont like Theo...but I agree with Alain Chantelois.
The only reason I would booo any player is if they dont care or they dont try.....not just if they start sucking.
And I dont think you can say Theo or Brizeby dont try or dont care...they just suck....and I cant boo for that.

You guys are hilarious and obviously know nothing about a tv show.
He just wants attention from his comments, and it worked flawlessly.
Next time maybe 50% of the posters here will watch his comment. That's his goal, it's just a style of tele-marketing à la Don Cherry.
