jumbotron

I went to my first B's game this year, and holy crikies, that jumbotron is the envy of the league.

The pyro-technics were a bit much, but man did that thing rock! There are only some markets that telecast in HD, let alone have a whole friggin jumbotron based on it.

What are the dimension of that thing anyway?

you know what I noticed? coming back late while play is going on noone seems to care anymore that they have to wait- you watch the Jumbotron. and when play is down the other ice I watch that thing and can see much better what is going on. That thing truly is amazing.

I wish the same could be said of the Bruins themselves -- but yes, that thing is pretty awesome.

Did you go to the first game of the season and not the second? Because they malfunctioned during the home opener. But they were pretty cool for game 2. It's sort of like the Rainforest Cafe....for anyone that has kids. It was like a storm in the Garden. Very cool.

It was actually a major light show with intense sound.

My search for a decent seat at the Garden continues. I payed for the $60 seats this time, behind the bench up in the balcony and the two fat guys leaning forward in front of me obscured my view most of the night.

I'll just go less and splurge when I do to sit at ice level.
