Henke gets beat 5 hole, and it's 1-0 FLA.

Sometime its so much better for a D to just get out of the way, instead of letting a player shot through him.

Allaiere traditionally wants the defense infront of his goalie to just get out of the way, see Anaheim as a example, we aren't playing that well.

Getting out of the way is one thing...

getting out of the way and leaving one or two forwards from the opposing team in front is another.

they need to gain the zone with puck possesion...or at least forecheck hard enough to retrieve it and get something going

just because we got Shanahan doesn't mean Jagr has to stop being the main goal scorer he's slowing down the whole team they look like the rangers of a few years ago - and it looks like we dont have a #1 goalie anymore both of them are giving up alot of goals and ones they should stop

The rule is that the D should take away one side of the net. Like the first post or the wide post. Not stand right between the goalie and the puck. Let the goalie see the puck.

On the comments you made earlier. I mean its bad luck, but a good goalie don't have bad luck. So many times this year a goal have been scored on basically the first shot. Like against Toronto. Because of it, Lundqvist never gets into the zone, and the reason for him not getting into the zone, is probably because he never gets to save the first shots...

What do you do????

It's really hard to believe the Referees aren't against the Rangers. Two very very obvious hits from behind by the Panthers, no calls. Both could have been atleast 4 minutes.

Worse, how is it not one Ranger went over and even said anything to Gelinas? I mean come on, stand up for your teammates, that was a cheap shot.

Would just like to note:
all this year...
Zubov nailed by Rasmussen, Daley comes to defend
Turco nailed by Grier, Boucher comes to defend
Downey nailed by Regehr, Souray comes to defend

but J Ward nailed and not one guy on the ice says a thing to Gelinas. Good team work boys...I'm sure J Ward was glad to see that

Rangers are a team full of pansies. It's pretty sad.
