Was he really dominant? Did you know he would make it to the NHL? I mean, he went 4th overall when he was drafted so he probably was a very strong player when he was young.

Kilger was rushed. If he had spent more time in the Juniors and AHL he would have developed into a much better hockey player IMO. Kind of the reason I'm a bit nervous about Lats. Lats is very similar to Kilger at the same age.

I crossed paths with Dandenault at Mail Champlain last winter. You don't really notice how big and tall the players actually are until you see them in person. Think he knows someone who works in the Claire du la lune (sp) store...he hung around there for a while.

Honestly I couldn't tell at the time. He could keep up with us no problem when we played street hockey (most of the boys we played with were my age, so 4-5 years older than him). I never really saw him on the ice at the time. I was the age of his older brother and played ice hockey with him - he was quite talented but didn't have the size Chad ended up having. My sister ended up knowing him better than me since she was his age.

did you live in Cornwall for awhile Turbo?

Because Chad Kilger is from Cornwall.

Not sure if he was born there, but he lived there for quite some time.

I know what you mean. When I met Komisarek and Quintal, I felt tiny and I'm 6' 195lbs.

Yes. From the age of 4 until I moved to montreal for graduate school in 1994. My parents moved away from Cornwall in 1996.

You live in Alexandria too?

I am only missing 1 credit to graduate high school and all the classes are full, so I'm doing this home school type thing just to finish my last credit.

I can't focus I hate doing school work from home.

Oh, and I also need to complete my 40 hours of community service.

I'm about 10 kms. south of you. Just about to log off and head to GD [assume that's your school] for parent teacher interviews at about 4. It takes me that long to put on my serious face.

I met the entire team this year in both Buffalo and Toronto. Only guy to refuse a picture was Kovalev but I hold nothing against him I am sure he was just getting his game face on and might be superstitious.

I liked eastern Ontario... quite a unique area with the natural intermingling of the french and english cultures.

The only Habs player Ive met was Dale Hoganson. He is a very pleasant guy. He is my neighbour but I dont know him.

I sat on Carbo's laps when I was about 6 or 7 years old..I do even have a picture of that...My father was playing music at a Habs party near Lac-St-Jean where I live and where Mario Tremblay has a cottage. I remember that Steve Penney, Yvon Lambert and Mario Tremblay were there...but I was really impressed by Carbo.

Also met Pierre Bouchard (ex defenseman). I was playing jazz with my band at Mario-Tremblay,s restaurant in alma when he asked the owner to get me to his table after my gig...very nice guy..very classy..a true gentleman.

Think that's all...I get to see Mario Tremblay pretty often and last time he was with a bombshell whoa! My friends and I took bets that it could be Ms. Gaborik or something but didn't get to know who she was...

anyway think that's it for the players I met
