I think Brian Murray was born with a cleft palate, which causes the lisp. Very funny.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cleft_palate

Hatcher just has a nervous twitch, very similar to the type made famous by both Gordie and Mark Howe, for Flyer fans who remember that superstar and should-be HHOFer.

I dunno about Grant Marshall having it, but I know for a fact that Hatcher does.

One of my good friends is a huge Stars fan and i remember him telling me Marshall had some mental illness, Hitchcock had a hard time trying to explain things to him or something? that could just be a learning thing.

But Hatcher and tourettes syndrome, didn't know...i'd like to read about him having this before i fully think he does have it.

I have a friend that has tourettes and while his isn't as bad as some have it, it will confuse the **** out of people that don't know him. He'd talk about something then curse a few times and people would be like "what's his problem?"

I have a good friend that has a lisp (much like Murray's) and it's not something i really care to make fun of, just my choice, you can go ahead and make fun of his lisp. More power to you, not sure what that does for you, but whatever.
I never made fun of it. I said I would have a hard problem being motivated by someone who speaks that way. That's my personal feeling. If that offends someone, or if someone feels that's insulting, that's their choice, but it's not my intention.

A speach impairment like that shouldn't be a problem, its what he is saying that should motivate you, not the fact that he has a lisp. In the heat of the moment, you don't sit there and giggle like an idiot about things, you get focused and listen to what's being said. I find that immature, sorry if i offend you, because i really don't mean to.

I always figured Hatcher twitches becuase he sees his replay of the previous play, and sees ho wbad he actually is. More so flinching, than twitching

Because he hasn't had his Twinkies fix for the day?

I've heard that you are supposed to twitch when someone curses your mother for birthing you.

As Borat would say, "My mother get angry and say me 'I wish another man **** me that day.'"

I used to say it was a marriage made in heaven when Murray was with the Ducks considering he talked like Donald and Daffy. If used right, it could have been a great marketing tool for the kids.
