Its time to bring back the Big E

Since Clarke is gone it is time to bring back the E-train. Come on gang. Yeah he had his moments, but he played his best hockey here. Plus we are in need of a big center since we lost Keith. Don't get me wrong, Clarke was a great player, as for GM, he sucked! I was never happy with the way the team has been ran for years now. This was the smartest thing Snider had ever done. Another would be to have the Big E or another big center or fighter on the team. We have no one to stick up for us now. The Broad Street Bullies, yeah right, where's the bully?

I'd take him back if he came cheap, although we really don't need any centers.

Forget Clarke, Snider would never give any GM permission to bring Lindros back.

He rarely plays center anymore, because he's so injury prone.

As for brining Lindros back, don't do it. He's not that physical anymore, and he plays scared. He's a shadow of his former self; he should have retired years ago.

It is time to look forward, not in the rearview mirror. Snider would never do it. Plus, I am sure Lindros is happy where he is. It is a good situation there for him.

of course he doesn't play that physical as he did in his prime (well, is Hatcher doing so ?

At least Primeau made the right decision and retired. Lindros should too. He was always my favourite player, in fact I became a Flyers fan because of his trade here (I was young and without loyalties to teams, just players that I knew). But he's just not the player he could have been. He might have a good season in Dallas, who knows, but he'll probably get hurt and be out all year again.

I like the big E. I wish he never would have had his injury problems. I wouldn't mind seeing him here again, at the right price, but that won't happen.
