SAMSONOV position

I remember that when we signed SAM, a journalist asked Carbo where will he be used and he said at left wing and not as a centerman.

This mens that sam played Center before, can someone tell me when.

Also if he did why can't we play him centre now with kovy and perez

C? Seriously? Don't think he'd make a very good one either way. I always thought he was strictly LW.

Yeah I was gonna say... As if Samsonov is physical enough to take faceoffs.

Koivu is 10x stronger then Samsonov.

Koivu is may be small but he's in a heel of shape.

Yea Koivu s stronger it s obvious
But THAT much more to the point where Samso would suck at faceoff?
I don t believe that

We found our 2nd line C anyway so..
edit : Koivu plays stronger then sammy, is he stronger? I don t know, but he definately play stronger than him

I don't think Koivu's stronger than Samsonov.

Samsonov's shorter and weighs more, and that isn't fat...

Anyway, one doesn't need to be strong to be a good faceoff man. Look at Perreault: arguably the weakest player in the NHL.
