It's a misconception. I really don't get why we're known as being a fast team. We have a bunch of fast players as far as skating speed goes but we're a slow team. We were slow last year, we're slow this year. Having fast skaters doesn't mean we're a fast team.

Agreed, Lats has looked strong out there today. His shift with Begin and Bonk was probably the best one not ending in a goal.

I think that they can still send lats back down as long as he plays less than 40 games... but the problem is that his pro salary will stick no matter what.

I really think that we would be better of with kost... I just wish there was a way to send lats to hamilton....

go to club med after the game, you'll be sure to find some of the players there.

Its a bad game, everyone plays one once in a while.. Buffalo will have some too.

Perhaps only a misconception to you. When you hear pre or post-game comments from any team in the league the common theme is that the Habs are a fast, skilled team. They may be dogging it tonight but that has more to do with effort than skating ability.

sorry guys, but how in the hell can some people say Lats has been playing well tonight?

I'm a fan of the guy, but he has looked so out of place so far this season. Like waffledave said...he looks like Dagenais out there. Probably one of the slowest players in the league right now.

He's slower than Andrew freakin' Peters. Aside from that, I like him.

Hopefully. Though I do remember last year when we started playing this way, it was a few games later in the season, posts about how it looked like a slump was coming started pooring in on the board, and sure enough, that slump came and never went until Theodore was gone. Not being alarmist, but to me it's 2 sluggish games in a row. Hopefully this is indeed just a (really) bad one in the system and nothing more. Good news is they still have a period to wake up, it's not yet a blow out.

Ill admit he looks out of place, but saying he looks like Dagenais is a lil to extreme

Maybe because that's the only them the Habs might be known for 'cause we ain't physical, we ain't nothing else but maybe fast so when ask what about the Habs, that's the only thing they could come up with.....though we're fast, doesn't mean there's not some fastest teams out there.....

Just watch the Oilers game tonight.....you'll see.....

****. Aubin just made a game-save. Koivu buries that one and it's a whole new game.

How? I've praised every good thing he's done. Look at my post history. You're right if you're saying I've repeatedly expressed my beleif that he should be sent down, but I have nothing against him where you can say I'm biased.

Can you honestly say that Latendresse has not been one of the worse, if not the worst player on the ice for both teams tonight?

I think Niinimaa or Rivet have a claim on "worst player on the ice" tonight ahead of Lats.

Lats first shift where he got two or three hits wasn't bad and I see him positioned in front of the net when the Habs manage to get a rush going.
