Hasn't really impressed anyone in Houston yet this year. He does have games of NHL experience, though, so I'm sure he'll be fine for Minny.

It's good to have a guy like this in the organization. He's probally been overlooked because of his age and lack of flash.

I like to see veterns get a chance. It's ironic that he's filling in for Wes Walz who was an overlooked veteran 5 years ago before the Wild gave him another chance.

Yes Wes had more talent, but Morgan has been around the block and he knows how to do his job. Again, it's good to have these guys around for a change.

We dont need this guy. We need scoring to replace Gabby while hes out. Benny or Volo would have been better.

He showed zip vs. the Avs, although the same could be said for most of the team. He did look like he was tryingh to provide a spark with physical play, to his credit.

I find this a perception a bit naive. Do you really think that any NHL team, especially a team coached by Lemaire, would call someone up to fill a scoring hole in the lineup filled by their best offensive player?

What typically happens is a Morgan comes up to replace a roster spot filled by a fourth line player and in turn a fourth line player is elevated. The scoring will be picked up by juggling the lines. Certain players will try to pick things up by playing a different role.

What if Voloshenko or Pouliot or even Irmen were tearing up the AHL? Do you think he'd call that kid up and plunk him on the wing with Demitra and Radio?

Personally, I think you're right. I wish JL would try it once, but that's also a setup for the kid to fail, too. JL is way too cautious for that.

Patrick O'Sullivan has 2 points in 11 games. Take from that what you will.
