Carbo, try different things !!!!

We all know Lats has been struggling a bit, not scoring.
What a perfect way off helping the kid out by putting him in the shootout last night. If he had scored, I think it could have done wonders for him and the team.
Lats, the team and the fans are all waiting for the his first goal
He needs to get is first goal to make him feel like he's really helping the team.
Also, Carbo is going to have to come up with ways off getting the team going right from the get-go, we now know the can turn it up a notch when they want too...I like this team !!

If he hadn't scored, everyone would have sent Carbo to be hanged.

He did try different things...

Who would have expected Mark Streit as our 4th shooter?

Ballsy move and it almost paid off.

was knd of hoping Johnson would get a try in the shootout. I agree, Carbo's got to start tryng different guys in there. Rarely do I say anything negative about Saku, but he hasn't impressed me in the shootout so far (although last night he was pretty close). I personally would rather see Perezhogin and/or Samsonov, whoever's having a hotter night.

I wouldn't go that far, but there were no reason for putting Latendresse before several other players including even Niinimaa. Latendresse will/should be the 13th to attemp a shot (in front of Dandenaut, Rivet, Komisarek, Bégin, Murray... not prior to Johnson, Plekanec, Niinimaa, Streit and the others). IMO.

One of the best thing about Carbo is that he try different things..

In the shootout, that was really a «couteau a deux tranchants»..

If he had score, that would have give him a great boost...

If he would have done a Saku-like move, you would have crushed his confidence...

He'll try him, I'm sure... in a few months.

First, he should decide to get his team to shoot FIRST in the shoot out when at home. That would be a good start.
