Quick question about Koivu's height

He's always listed at 5'10'' but I doubt that height is legit. How tall is he, really?

For real? Midgets like St. Louis, Kariya and Briere always have a couple of extra inches tacked onto their listed heights. Anybody ever meet Koivu in person?

5'9'' is more accurate but for the people that want to BELIEVE he is 5'10" go for it. I am 5'9'' and i have met Saku, we are the exact same height, so like someone said, they do pad their heights with an inch or two.

Briere has admitted that they add 1 inch to his height on his profile.

Not a really big deal...

Yeah and I can tell you something, Yann Danis is 5'10-11' ish and he's listed at 6'0. I've met him and talked to him for 1 min...he's short.

So, they're always being generous when they take nhl players height and weight(and for wjc's tournaments players too). Crosby is listed as 5'11 now.

He was once listed as 5'11' (in yearbooks from 5-6 years ago...).
Koivu really is 5'10" (very close to 5'11").
I've seen him in person twice.

He is big/cut (not like Downey, but...).
He does look to be around 185-190lbs (very fit/solid/muscular).

Just like Darcy Tucker was once listed as 5'11" (now he's listed at 5'10").

Bouillon is listed at 5'8", 195 lbs, but... he's about the same height as Tucker...(I've seen 'em both in person).

Bouillon looks to be very close to 5'10", and he's a tank (solid 195lbs, thick like a fridge!).
