Dustin Byfuglien and Christian Brothers Sticks?

does anyone know if he is actually using them, on there website they have a Byfuglien curve. the curve actually looks a lot like my Ron Francis Curve I have on one of my sticks. Just curios if anybody knew anything about it.

I'm sure they just paid him to put his name on the sticks. He's from Roseau, Christian is from Roseau, etc. He uses CCM as far as I know.

And it looks like they just gave up on branding...all black sticks.

There was a story out of Chicago last year that he was starting up a line of his own sticks and I remember them saying that he was going to team up with some people he knew or something like that. I would not be surprised if this what they were talking about and that he was now working with Christian.

It's interesting to see a company that's not completely phasing out their wood sticks.

i currently have an old christian aluminum shaft. it has some kind of wireless internet receiver taped to the end of it and it is hanging out a window so my roommate can steal wireless.

They used to make really good wood sticks many years back, then they teamed up with Harrow and made really great stuff, and then the company split apart.

Harrow kept all the composite stuff and Christian had their wood stuff, but kind of had to start from scratch.

I've met them at an Expo, nice guys, but I haven't seen any of their product in stores. They do custom wood blades, very good quality.

Yeah you can go to the site and get a completely custom stick with your name on it and everything. I just like seeing a companie that is still close to it's roots after 46years. Nice to know they didn't sell out.

The few Christian sticks I've seen have been horrible though, incredibly heavy, impossible to flex. There's got to be a reason nobody's carrying their products anymore.

My favorite sticks (goalie) were always Christian's. Affordable and durable. I haven't gotten around to trying anything they've done since partnering then breaking from Harrow. They do seem to have good pricing and customizing available. They were behind the original "Curtis Curve" goalie sticks I believe.
Sorry for the derail.

Byfuglien has an ownership interest in Christian.

I found one at Play It Again a couple years back and bought it for that exact reason - it's not a bad stick by any means but they are very stiff.

Harrow makes the best blade I've ever used and makes a very excellent shaft as well. It's my main rig and I'm buying another one for next season.

There, now you've heard differently.
