A few years back Tanguay put himself into Hartley's doghouse and went into a massive slump. He didn't get out of it until Hartley was fired and Granato was promoted. Tanguay needs to be coddled. I was pretty sure that wasn't going to happen for him in Calgary, and I'd say so far its true.
I could be wrong and he could turn it around. I don't think so though. I can't say either side won on the Tanguay deal. Tanguay isn't playing @ $5M+ and Leopold is still LTI.
