The Hawks are missing Havlat and Handzus. They'll improve when Havlat returns.

No one, I mean no One, can ever call Gauthier a pylon again... pylons dont make diving poke checks to keep the lead.

biggest dumb thing that people do in hockey: keep playing when you don't have a stick. i would MUCH rather have 5 seconds of 5 on 4 than a minute of 5 on 4.25 out there. just a ridiculously DUMB decision... maybe when you're on the far change it makes sense, but even then you're talking about a very short window to get a new guy out there and forward without a stick is damn near worthless anyway...

In this situation you play without a stick. If you simply skate off the ice you let that player hold the puck and most likely find an open man. The situation isnt going to be like a 5-4, you have forwards still comming back, and especially b/c this was a fast break, if Gauthier just skated off the ice then it would have allowed that Chicago playeer to make an easy play to an open man.

The NHL highlight machine won't even acknowledge the play.

Gagne tries to hard to get guys hatricks....he makes stupid plays when either Knuble or Forsberg have two goals.
