Did the team throw a Halloween bash yesterday? Hope we'll get to see some footage tonight or later this week!

No, it's only on Sportsnet East
You'd figure a fellow Habfan could answer a simple question without being a ****.

This is one of those games that will adversely affect my schoolwork, for sure. I have a huge assignment due tomorrow that I'm likely going to have to do all night, because I'll watch the hockey game.

Habs 4-3 (OT)

Higgins, Samsonov, Latendresse, Johnson (OT)
Redden, Heatley and Neil.

Man it's only been 10 games and there have been so many exciting ones. Those 2... The Colorado game... The Leafs game last Saturday...

It should be a great year!

GO HABS GO! I'll go with a 4-2 Montreal win tonight.
Samsonov, Higgins, Ryder, Souray
Heatley, McAmmond
I'll be there too ... I happen to have seen live the exact same games as you so far. Did you also get the 1/2 season pack B?

This will be my 7th game of the season and I am yet to see habs lose in regulation, I hope the trend continues with a win.

The Canadiens neet to skate hard all night and I hope they come out flying and take an early lead.

Regional Blackout?

I've heard that there's a regional blackout on Sportsnet for those of us in Ontario,, Can anyone confirm or deny this?

Confirm. Sportsnet won't show the game in Leaf-territory (they never do). You need RDS or Centre Ice to watch the game, or your local Sportsnet has to be Sportsnet East.

5 points separating 4th and the 13th spot. At one point were going to have to go on a streak if we want to separate areself from the pack,This would be a great time to put togheter a streak of wins. Its not an easy week, ottawa, carolina. Well see what are players are made off this week. Looking foward to seing that russian line in action. cant waite.

I say 4-1 habs, higgins,markov,kovalev,bonk

Downie isn't likely to play tonight

From the Gazette
Quote:
Tough-guy forward Aaron Downey resumed practising and didn't show any adverse reactions from the concussion he suffered on Oct. 17. But Carbonneau said Downey has yet to be cleared by the team's medical staff and probably won't play tonight.

everybody calm down please.

Habs should be improved but that does not yet mean HAS improved.
We might see a new spark on that 2nd line but it still take 2-3 games to see the full effect.

Second, Ottawa still has enough firepower to take the game away from the Habs. This would NOT mean the Habs have not improved.
IF Ottawa comes with a BIG game, well of course that means they scored some goals and someone is to blame every time.

So don't go NUTS if the new RED LINE gets cought a few times.
It's only that 2-3 games needed.

IN 2006-7 almost ANY team can have a BIG GAME.
The best thing of course is that both teams get to play and the refs don't skrew-up again like in Boston.

Give us a REAL HOCKEY GAME, both teams, and let the chips fall.

Does sportsnet do HD at all?

It really amazes me that teams don't take a page from F1, and do all the camerawork in-house, and then sell it to the networks. It'd probably be cheaper for everyone.
