Is our top line in jeopardy?

I knew he would have gotten jinxed, a buddy of mine had him in his pool and traded him away so i mock him everyday because of it and namely becauseof the success JR has had so far this season, so he just finished telling me before lunch that he hopes he gets injured.....DOH!!!!

Hopefully this is nothing serious ala Leclair and worst case scenario he misses the Pittsburgh and/or Hurricanes game.

If they did give Roenick a night or two off, they would probably go

Gagne - Recchi - Amonte
LeClair - Handzus - Williams
Brashear - Primeau - Kapanen
Chouinard/Fedoruk - Lapointe - Somik

I doubt that JR will take any time off, he's just not the type of player that you can keep out of the lineup if he's 75% healthy. At the very most, I can see him missing 1 game. Amonte and Roenick are the two Flyers that you should be least worried about getting injuried.

It's not a question of whether or not Roenick wants to play.

If he is 75%, then he does not play. Simple as that. Way to early in the season to risk anything serious with him or anyone for that matter.

Chouinard is listed to play on Wednesday against the Pens. I would rather have him rest up now then later. We have big games coming up with the home and home series with our biggest rivals, the Devils. Rest up against the Pens and Canes. I have faith our boys will keep rolling.
