This is ridiculous. Kaspar over Rachunek? I understand Malik and Roszival arent going anywhere, but Rachunek stays over DK?!

I don't know. A lot of me doubts that. Why would this make a difference with regards to Pock?

Uh wow. Didn't expect this. Pock better play, not Rachunek. Hopefully Malik-Roszival are next, not on a conditioning assigment but on a waiver assignment

Oh God. Now you lost a fan favorite for a bit and Malik and Rozival will see even more ice time. Why didnt Malik or Rozival get sent down?

The ****ing moronic management this team has is a joke.

Wow. He will fly alone to East Coast. He can't play his game anymore. New NHL killed his game. Without it he is just a D that cannot shoot.

He couldnt shoot last season, but he could check, unlike the current ******* that round out this team's D.

WOW its not surpising that he was sent down, but the fact that he was send down before Merek, I had three turnovers in one shift, Malik. Intresting.

Waiving him would've been the best way to go but it still sends a message..

Marek is a Czech. That's how this team works now, the czech players are favored all because of one guy who shouldn't be wearing the 'C'

He was fine last year. If your trying to make a case for the new NHL failing this wont work. Kasparaitis has personal issues that I think have destroyed his confidence.

Like the additions of Hall, Ward and Cullen. I dont think Jagr had anything to do with this.

i dont agree with that. i think that jagr has no say in this whatsoever. and even if he did, he and kaspar are buddy-buddy from their penguin days.

this is truly a sad evening. my favorite player sent down for a conditioning stint? he may never play for the rangers again.

if i were kaspar, i would say "sather, shove it up your fat old @$$" and head back to mother lithuania with his millions.

I think this may help Kasper in the long run. It will either help his play and get him hitting and playing smart again, or he will decide that he can no longer cut it and stop playing. I dont want him to stop, I love the guy on the Rangers, but with the amount of injury's he has had and the lack luster play up to this point I dont want to see him go out there and hurt him self year after year. I dont know I hope this works out for the best for him, I honestly do.

not sure why everyone is so upset, he definiatly wasn't a positive on the team this year. If he cant keep up let him go eve if he was a fan favorite. Lets just hope he finds his game and comes back for revenge.

the more i think about it the more i'm getting pissed. Not because Kaspar deserves a spot (he doesn't) but it's a half assed moved..

If you want to send a message to the players waive kaspar. Does anybody doubt in 10 days Kaspar will be back on the blue line?

you can waive kaspar it isn't like anybody is going to claim him with his contract.

The only positive that is going to come out of this is Kaspar won't be playing for the next 4 games..
