Gagne - $5.25
Carter - $.942
Meyer - $.525
Total = $6.717

Morrison - $3.2
Cooke - $1.5
Bourdon - $1.35
1st round pick
2nd round pick
Total = $6.05
Bourdon is nice but how is this offer helps the Flyers now or in the future. We lose 1st line LW and Carter is projected to be 1st or very good 2nd line center. This is a crappy deal for the Flyers anyway you look at it.

Enough of the proposals about VAN-PHI. They do not make good trading partners.

THe only way I trade with Vancouver is if we are absolute crap at the end of the year and Forsberg does not want to resign with us and wants to go to Van to play with Naslund. I would want Morrison, a gritty 2nd/3rd liner like Cooke and a defensive prospect. I would throw a minor prospect with Forsberg to even that out.

Can we please stop all proposals involving Gagne???????

if a big trade went down between philly and the nucks you would have to be an idiot not to think that schnieder would be involved.

he is a top goalie prospect, probable future no1 goalie. Something philly needs.

schnieder(sp)
bourdon
1st-07
morrison
cooke

gagne
carter
2nd-07

I'm getting tired of these Morrison and Cooke throw-ins...

But a top goalie prospect and a top defensive prospect are hard to pass up given the state of this team.

the canucks would never makes these deals

sorry, flyer fans can 'hope' all they want. gagne is good, but he's over-rated and carter hasn't proven anything lately. so don't expect the canucks to give up their best prospects, top picks and two very serviceable forwards for that - especially in the era of salary caps.

It's not Flyers fans making the proposals. We're pretty sick of outsiders showing up here making dumbass proposals.

The only thing that pisses me off more is the assumption by unobservant morons that we're the ones initiating these proposals.

Now lets ignore the less educated fans on both sides such as the ones that think luongo is moving or that both gagne and carter are going to move in the same deal

but I wonder what would a deal like this sound like to flyer fans:

Carter
for
Bourdon
2nd

Carter
pick/prospect

for

Schneider
Edler

Send Foppa back to Colorado.

Perhaps Philly can get something for him.
