Man that team is soft. Needs right now are more Begin type player and less Sundstrom. I can't beleive BG is not seeing it the same way.
Quintal has been like that all year...slow and not playing with much of an edge at all. I would love to get rid of this guy.

As for Sundstrom, well i actually really like what i have seen from him the last few games. No way does a stiff like Dagenais deserve to play ahead of Sundstrom.

And i think BG does see things the same way as you and I and most of us. I think he's the first to admit that this team needs to get bigger...but you don't just make a trade for the sake of making a trade...the deal has to make sense and clearly Gainey hasn't found a good one yet or we would have seen a move already.

I think you misunderstood what I meant (maybe I wasn't clear). What I tried to say is I'm pretty sure Gainey sees it the same way (as it's pretty obvious to see).

EDIT: I edited it to avoid future confusion.

I don't care for the logo but the sapphire blue/emerald green/white colours are very classy imo.

A stick in a rink creating a "C" for Canucks. I could live without the logo but the colours are great.

Julien is making his press conference now, he said the players did a meeting between them without him. Julien's comment about that: it's a good sign, it means the players are getting responsable. ... Yeah, 4 or 5 little minutes. Civilized and short meeting.

In the good old days, there were longer and physical meeting between players with swears, hits, broken furniture, etc. There were 5 to 10 leaders in the locker room, today we have none leaders. Pathetic.

It's not the worst game of the year by a long shot.

I'm a graphic designer too and all I have to tell is that every design, logo, corporate brochures and advertising of the late '70's to mid-'80's were dull and bad taste in North America. Even the nicest designs of that period you can find in annual award books are looking flat compare to today's designs or the golden age of the 30's thru 50's.

I've never heard anything about the rink creating a "C"... I think it's just a rink... says that Cat in the Hat.

The new orca whale jersey busting out of the bay (or toilet bowl) is supposed to look like a "C". A constipated orca I might add.

Must of been one hell of a 5 minute meeting, what did they do give each other hugs to consol each other? I wouldent be suprised we got a freaking care bear team. They have been having meetings for years now what the hell did it add up to? nothing. You can have all the meetings you want but if you dont show up for the next game no one will care. Can we dress Komisarek now and toss either Quintal or Rivet in the stands? can we call Hossa back up and let him play insted of Dagenais? can Julien change things up during a game insted of always playing the 3rd line against the other teams first, even if were winning or losing or if the other teams first line is completly dominating our third line?

According to the description given by the designer of the logo it IS creating a "C"

I guess they were directing their design towards BC's finest folk.
