Proposal - Flames/Flyers

What do you think....

Tanguay to Philly
Gagne to Calgary

OR

Langkow+Hamrlik to Philly
Forsberg to Calgary

Tanguay and Forsberg have experience togeher in Colorado and Iggy and Gagne played together in the olympics... could make it an interesting thought.

First off, boarderex, thanks for being someone that actually puts "Proposal" like they're supposed to in the topic thread, we've been getting hit w/ a ton of trade proposals and no one is following the rules. Its good to see.

Second, I don't see how either of those help the Flyers personally. I still stand by my opinion that if we get the defense going it will jump start the offense also. So I personally would look for help on D.

I'm actually on the other side of the coin here. I wouldn't mind seeing Gagne for Tanguay + a little more (because CAL gets the goal scorer). I think the chemistry between Forsberg will still be there. I think that anyone on that line will put up great numbers. And I think my fantasy team will do a lot better with Tanguay finally putting up the points again, damnit!

How about this one.

Pitkanen
Umberger

Phaneuf
Prust
Richie Regehr
garbage pick

The Flyers give up a lot of offense here, but at the same time pick up some much needed character, and depth on the blue line.

Flyer fans, we'd have one hell of a spark-plug line if Stevens ever decided to put Prust on the left, Murray in the center and Eager on the right. It would also force the coach into reuniting the CCR line, which wasn't given nearly long enough of a chance.
