Isbister makes it 3-2. A goal and an assist for him and Hemsky so far. Looks like Stoll was a good addition for those two.

Yes Isbister!

Wouldn't that be something if he started getting the confidence to become a consistant force.

That would be huge!

Fingers crossed hoping for a point streak.

Nice shot by Izzy. The Oilers got the Jackets right where they want them.

Nah, in the third period Jackets have a -12 goal difference in the third period. I foresee the Oil getting a goal in the final five minutes, then winning in OT.

We need a goal soon, as we haven't scored with the goalie pulled in what seems like forever. Get this game tied NOW and go for the win boys!

A late answer is better than never, I guess.

Laraque is an impressive (?) 14-0-1-1, -4
Not good.

If Laraque can fetch a bit more thrown in with Comrie, I say go for it. Hes a nice guy and all... but hes really shown nothing. The team looks better with him out of the lineup.

lol. I was thinking the same thing, although one would think the Oilers would stop doing it since the refs are clearly going to call it tonight.

Isbister's best game all year btw. ot goal? I'll go with York.

Hemsky!

I'll go with him. The kid has 3 shots on net. I must be dreaming.

Moreau and Pisani with under a minute

Like that MacT finally threw out an offensive line after that shift, but he waited much too long.

Well, I really hate tying a sub-par hockey team like that, especially after losing to MTL and with the Wings up next, but at least we made it back and avoided the loss.

We NEED Oates in soon.

Hemsky and Isbister with Stoll, worked well. I'd still put Hemsky with Smyth and Oates when he gets in, but at least we have a good combo.

Horcoff got sat in the 2nd/3rd again, good to see MacT isn't as loyal as he used to be with his role players.

Bergeron makes a huge difference to this team.

Ty kept us in well enough, he coulda stolen it tonight, but he did play solid.

Great to see Radek keep goin.

well i guess a point is a point.... but this is a team that they REALLY should have beaten.... i guess we'll call it a character tie

the good thing that im hoping comes out of this game: hemsky realizing that when he shoots the puck and drives to the net very good things can happen.... i thought he was the oilers best player by quite a distance tonight

In the past 6 games the Oilers have got 9 of a possible 12 points. That's the way I'm looking at it.

Although I flak Brewer often, he was pretty solid back there. Laid some body and was pretty reliable. Some smart plays near the end.

Really impressed with Isbister tonight. He wasn't playing on the outside at all. Who knows how he could turn out if gets the confidence going. I think that's the biggest thing with him.

If it wasn't for that foul 1st period, the Oilers likely would have beaten the Blue Jacketrs tonight.

I still don't mind Pisani. He back checks very effectively.

The players that really needed to be scoring (keeping the confidence up), scored tonight. Hemsky, Isbister and Dvorak. Torres is still pointing too.

Well, while Columbus isn't a top notch team, they're still a fairly good one. I give it to the boys though, coming from two goals behind on an away game. Says a lot about the team. Sounds like Conklin stole a point for us...and Hemsky with 4 shots? Maybe Lowe should consider adding a shot bonus to Ales' next contract. $100 per shot on goal?
