This would be my theory as to his "source".

This guy (probably under 16, no doubt) had nothing to watch on the tube, or the loyal porn site he frequents took a couple extra seconds to load...

and so, let's see what people will say if I predict a trade tommorrow, I bet it will be funny, I will even say I have a source.

Well, guess what, I lost a sock in the dryer this evening, and that is more information than we have learned from this thread up to this point!

..I feel a disturbance in the force...

Hello all of you Habs Fans..

I dont have any source but there is some hint that point to a possible trade announcement tomorow.

1- Komi has been called up but the 3 place on the Right side are taken by Vets who wont skip games like Cube did.
2- in an RDS articles BG said he will explain the call up tomorrow... why not now, explaining that Hossa and hainsey are not ready yet and he would like to give those 2 guys a chance at the nhl level... there must be more because BG is not the guy to create expectation.
3- The Habs need a big shake-up

But who will be trade... I dont know where and for whom... I dont know.

My Guess : Rivet and a forward for a High risk overpaid gamble kind of player ... a la Jagr.

But it could be for a simple prospect... which would be good either way.

We will check tomorrow...

Innocent until proven guilty. You're making a good case, so I'll believe you until you're either proved wrong or right. It sure makes for alot of fun, though. I haven't seen this many posts spring up since the Roy-Theodore trade rumours. :p

Yeah, but I gotta admit that kastaure makes good points. Plus I still have that Gazette interview in the back of my mind.

Give the guy a chance... I mean I know people in the Habs organisation so who knows maybe that Joe does too. (Btw, knowing doesn't mean they're my best friends or anything )

Maybe so..

I'm not sure if joepaco's right and to be really honest i'm pretty pesimistic about the whole rumour of a trade evolving tommorow. But there has to be something to it because tonight on tv, i heard about it twice already(i.q.:french media talking about the possible departure of rivet)...so whilst hoping the habs get a good forward and keep komisarek in montreal, rumours like that have been part of this town forever now and considering everything, they're still rumours...

I might miss Rivet, just because he has been here so long, but if we get a good player in return, it will be like Rivet who?

kastaure,

i know your just thinking things out, but could we even afford jagr? Just seems so unlikley.

I hope we dont lose souray either, or if we do, the trade better not be for a prospect.

Im going to be believe something will happen or at atleast we will hear about failed talks really soon

If your uncle is not Bob Gainey then I don't believe you.

I`d sure love to know who these "sources" are. It gets alittle frustrating hearing about them all the time when you know that 9 times outta 10 the source is just some friend or relative selling peanuts at the Bell center. I`ll give joepaco a chance, if tommorow comes and theres no trade he WONT be going on my ignore list because it sounds like he seriously believes his "source" and the only reason for him covering his ass so much is because he`s going to be crucified when or if this dosn`t come true. Hopefully if there is a deal Gainey makes the other GM look like Rejean Houle. I guess we`ll see.

I think Pierre Dagenais is going to be traded, there's no reason to call this guy up, think about it they could of called up Chris Higgin's, Gratton, and many other prospects that are ten time's faster and better then Pierre

With that in mind i think it would be
Pierre Dagenais+Patrice Brisebois+Zednik

For Jagr

Washington get's a good defenseman and montreal clear's out enough salary to maybe take on Jagr's!
