Name stitching on back? Where?

Hey, i bought an authentic Vintage Rangers jersey last year at MSG ( too much $$ ) during the playoffs, but with no name. I was just wondering if anyone had any tips/suggestions for places to get a name embroidered/stitched onto the jersey.

I went to find out prices at Cosby's, and they were in the stratospheric range, about $80 or so. anyone have any other, cheaper suggestions? I would like to get the proper style for the jersey I got. I'm thinking Hollweg (one of my personal favorites), Lundqvist, Shanahan, or someone else.

This kind:

Thanks in advance.

Don't you know that the name on the front is more important than the name on the back?

Sorry, couldn't resist.

I had my 2 pro jerseys done at Cosby's. Really, how much cheaper can you get it done? $10-$15?

They did a perfect job.

since i have no frame of reference for prices, i wouldnt know if $80 is a good price, or if $40, $30, $50 or so was a good price. I also figured that Cosby's would the more expensive option, and there may be other personal fan favorite places to go to as well.

Id go with Holly, Orts, Hall, Prucha or A Ward or Tyutin.

I got a Todd Harvey jersey when he was with the Rangers wearing number 20, the dark blue liberty jersey, about a month and a half later, he was dealt for Dvorak Or get someone who aint with the team yet like Korpikoski, Dubinsky, Falardeau, Staal

Let's put it this way...stitching is never the place you are gonna get a deal...al places, even online...will be from 65-85 bucks. Getting the jersey cheap...that's wear I could help you out. Like www.citysports.com...

But since you already have the jersey. Go to Cosby's..you know you are in god hands there.

Also...these sites are great too:

www.citysportslettering.com. www.rivercitysports.com and I
have heard rave reviews of www.sportsk.com. And I think they have the
best deals ...

If I was getting a jersey stitched, I'd go to sportsk.com most likely. I think they are around $50-$65.

$80 is a little high but not too bad. The hockey store in my town wanted $100, I almost laughed in the guys face.

thanks for the heads up, but sportsk.com is actually $77 for 'Sewing Only' for the Rangers jersey, + $6 for S&H. so its actually more expensive or on par with Cosbys.

Hrm they must have raised their prices, I could have sworn it was less last season.

coolhockey.com is $60 but you need to ship to Canada.

95$ all stitched can't complain.. when your paying 200$ for a jersey what's another 95$ to have it the way you want it..? lol

That's cool, man. Where are you located? Maybe that would help us figure out the best place to get it done. You can probably always get it done slightly cheaper in the outer boroughs or even the suburbs but you do always run the risk of having them F up your jersey.

The reason I chose Cosby's is b/c I knew it would be perfect and it was. I had a 1994 SC patch put on my Leetch jersey when I had it lettered and I told the guy "on the left shoulder" and he was like, "yeah, we know where it goes..."
