Google's Godly Gift to Hockey

http://video.google.com/videosearch?...en&page=1&so=1
HOW AWESOME IS THIS??? FULL HOCKEY GAMES!!!!!!!!! ON GOOGLE VIDEOS!!! YES IM YELLING!!!!!!!!

Now you can download full-length NHL games and watch them on your time. Whether it's a memorable game or a keepsake of your first in-arena experience, NHL Video is always available on Google.

Right now, on the above link, theres 5 rangers games available:

Rangers@Coyotes Oct 28th 2006
Panthers@Rangers Oct 25th 2006
Rangers@MapleLeafs Oct 21st 2006

and....

1994 Stanley Cup finals, Game 7 Canucks@Rangers
1994 Eastern Conference finals, Game 6 Rangers@Devils

main page link:
http://video.google.com/nhl.html

edit: So they are letting us view the games for 2 weeks, and then you can buy the games (probably for a few bucks a game). Overall its pretty cool, they are just trying to get people to check it out for 2 weeks to get people interested. Enjoy it while its free!

Why would they even do this? And how are they allowed to do this?

The National Hockey League has signed a deal to make full-length games and other video available to fans through Google Video.

In addition to current games, which will be shown on a delay, and classic games from the league's archives, the NHL is working with Google to provide hockey-themed user-generated content.

The content will be offered free and without advertising for the first two weeks of November, the league said in a statement Wednesday. The league did not say what its price point would be after that.

Buy Google stock if you can. They know how to run a business. Just when you think they can't possibly grow any larger, they keep finding ways to spread their presence on the internet and find a new way to generate revenue.

I'm watching the game 6... that was a hell of a game. Any idea who's the color guy with Doc? Was it still Peter McNab back then?
