Probably. I mean, what is he, a size 32 waist.. 200lbs tops. I think he could fit. I mean its a pretty big city.

Now if this was Keith Tkatchuk...

He'd be great with Kovalev in my opinion.

We could trade something like this

To PHI
Souray
Koivu

To MTL
Forsberg

Higgins-Forsberg-Kovalev

What do you think ?

you're f--king crazy!

At the deadline, it would be a very good catch from bob if we can get him for a pick or something like that. But I don't want to give either souray or Koivu for him.

Forsberg would be a good fit in Montreal and i don't think the Flyers would accept Koivu in this trade. If he's traded before the deadline, it will be in exchange of very good prospects and a high draft pick

I think the hospitals in Montreal are full enough as it is.

They can keep him. I don't care if he's quote/unquote one of the greatest players in the game right now (which I don't agree with anyways), but we already got rid of one flagrant diver in Ribeiro, why would we want another one like Floppa?

Pretty stupid proposal. If it were to go down, as unlikely as that would be, it would be a typical rental deal. The price would be high -- probably Price, actually.

If the Habs are still showing signs of being one of the truly good teams in the East, I'd definitely consider it. It'd be crazy not to because of his reputation as a diver, even though he is one of the game's greats who's a proven playoff warrior with 2 Cups. It's like saying I wouldn't take Kovalchuk or Crosby because they hotdog too much.

I'm no cap expert, but I think it'd be doable later in the season if Niinimaa gets wiped from the books, even if it means paying him to play in the AHL (which might not be so bad for the Bulldogs). Forsberg's salary is actually reasonable for a player of his quality.
