I miss the old goal horn

Silly topic I know, but I miss that old goal horn, the one that sounded like a train or something. They should bring it back and make it louder, I hate this new Tampa Bay one.

It's official with this thread. We've hit rock bottom boys. Sound the trumpets.

I miss the goal horn too. With these Flyers I've forgotten what it sounds like

The Flyers have sucked ever since they got the new goal horn. I think the game against Colorado after that long road trip last season was the first game they played with it.

Actually the first game they played with it was I believe against Calgary where we won 1-0 in the shootout. The only time we heard the goal horn that night was on Mike Richards' goal in the shootout

You're forgetting that we actually heard it on that night's edition of Coatsy's Corner.

Dont they play it during Eagles games after a touchdown?

I swear I hear something like that once a Eagles TD is scored.

They play a horn I believe when the Eagles score but it's not even the same arena so I don't think they are the same

As soon as they changed it I hated it.

I've always liked the regular one, its unique, I don't really hear any other teams that have the same horn that is the same noise and same note. I grew up with that horn, hell when I score a goal playing hockey that's the horn I think of.

I say bring it back. I miss it.

Actually the Eagles horn is taken from the Rangers. They just don't play the song that the Rangers do

I liked the older Flyers goal horn (I think it sounded like a train) better. The one now is sort of generic.

How ironic. The goal horn is just like our players.
