it's only been 1 game and i miss him already,

----and there will come times within now and 6 weeks that we'll miss him ALLOT more,

so we need to step up our pk and offence to make up the huge void.

Higgins is gone

On the plus side, Tender, while not god, is looking pretty good...maybe an apostle? Saint, perhaps?

Higgins said that 6 weeks was too long and that he'd try to be back by 4.

Let's just hope he doesn't come back too early and re-injure himself.

Yeah that would be the worst thing. Higgins needs to be healthy for the stretch drive and the playoffs. I do like his attitude and I can not believe that 2 consecutive games is the most5 he missed did he not used to be a really small guy?

I don't completely miss him as much as I would. However I'd rather have him getting better asap.

The Habs need him. We need him. Hell, I need him. I'm a mess without him. I miss him so damn much. I miss seeing him on TV, and I miss being near him at the Bell Centre. I miss his laugh. I miss his scent...I miss his musk. When he gets back into the lineup, I think Chris and I should get an apartment together...

It could be worse ... Koivu or Markov injured.

an Angel would be nice!

Still, Higgins was dominating to say the least...we'll miss him greatly.

Just remember when Markov was injured last year. And Saku's injury. It hurts.

But Higgins a pretty "chunk" too. I do hope he gets back before 6 weeks. But I also hope he'll make sure he's OK before coming back. You can't mess with that kind of injury.

Injuries are part of hockey. They played well last night without Higgins in the lineup. Other players (like Lats and Perez) will hopefully see this as a chance to step up. This team is deeper than in the past so we can cope with injuries.

When you play the kind of game Higgins plays, I'm surprised it's taken this long for it to happen. I'm really bummed out about the injury too, though.

Remember when Koivu was on an all time high a few years back and got injured.......Hopefully this doesn't happen with Higgins
