Fire the goal coach-Bob Essensa

Bob was a loser as a goalie and he is now making his goalies he coaches, losers as well. This would be the first thing that P.C. should do.

Great analysis.
Can we hire Pokey Reddick then?

I don't know how responsible Essensa is for our goalie woes... but I do know for a fact that Bill Ranford is looking to get into coaching.

Maybe we can hire Ranford...and then trade him for Andy Moog....and then watch as the team that Ranford coaches beats us in the finals next year.

I dunno. He seemed to do very well with Raycroft a few years ago when he won Rookie of the Year.

I'd hire a Fin.

We have Thomas, who played there. Toivenen and Rask are both Fins. They are both on record as saying that Fins are successful because of their coaching.

Even though this guy chose a poor way to make his point, I can see the reasoning. Who's the first to go when a pitcher struggles - pitching coach! Whos the first to go when a quarterback struggles - qb coach!

I would put money on them making a change if the goalies continue to struggle.
