That proposal is a lot closer than a lot of the crap I've seen around here lately.

ex. C'mon people. Frolov is a pipedream.

In Dave Taylor's shoes would you move him for Comrie??? Not a chance.

That would be like us trading Hemsky for Comrie.

"But we can throw in a pick too."

I say let Mike start his soccer career then! If that is all he is worth on the trade market why are we paying him 3mil+/annum to play? Something isnít right and Lowe is not in a hurry to trade.

If all lowe can get is that, sit him and wait or if he's forced to trade (which he isn't), trade him to an eastern team for a crap deal like this. Value aside, you don't trade am impact player for nothing to a team that could take your playoff spot. I'd rather loose a trade where it won't come back to hurt us every year. Only deal Comrie to a western team if you can get a good return. I'm sure Atlanta would be willing to offer a similar deal where they don't give up much and we wont have to face Comrie many times a season.

Article on Corey Perry

For what its worth, Corey Perry was a late first rounder last year. Anaheim traded with Dallas to move up and take him at #28.

He's 6'2 or 6'3, right winger who has put on about 20 lbs of muscle since last year (hopefully not steroid induced). He's about 200lbs and appears to be blossoming into a scorer this year.

I hope Comrie reads this article: :p

"The toe drag -- showing the puck and pulling it back to go around an opponent in a one-on-one situation -- is a nifty move that won't work as readily on veteran NHL defencemen who've seen legions of rookies attempt it."
