With Orr out of the lineup, what are the chances that someone gets called up for an extra player. Why not call up Greg Moore??? Hed be a upgrade over Orr during the season and when Jed comes back we can send him down. We can put Orr on IR for a week or so. And when Orr gets healthy, we can either send down Moore or trade or send down hossa

Straka Nylander Jagr
Prucha Cullen Shanny
Dawes Betts Hall
Hollweg Ward Moore

a much better more balance lineup.

what if someone gets hurt in practice, u never know with this team, id rather us play moore in a game, he can do what hossa does and is more physical and cheaper. oops i said physical renney only allows the rangers to have one physical player on the team

I don't think they're calling anyone up.

You actually believe theyll bring up and put Moore into the lineup???

They dont even play Dawes and Pock...

First get Dawes in the lineup. Besides theres no way theyll bring up Moore when Hossa is killing penalties they way he does. His game even strength might suffer, but one of the only bright spots of his game is on the PK, you can't ignore that he chips in well there.

So with the PK has been getting better and the Rangers picking up some points, I dont see a callup unless another forward goes down.

Plus you have the luxury of carrying Pock, because if something does happen on the road in the morning skate he can jump in and play forward if need be.

With Dawes barely playing, i can't see them calling up a player. If anything, Dawes will be filling the spot.

He went into the boards I think head or shoulder first, so i'm guessing its a problem with one of those two parts of the body. Maybe his back

It has to be his shoulder after that check and then slaming into the boards.

Unless the Rangers think they need to replace Orr's toughness I don't see them bringing anyone up.

Just read Sams blog and this is what he has to say about Orr's condition:
Quote:
Colton Orr is day-to-day with back spasms after being slammed by Florida’s Martin Gelinas last night. If you’re Nigel Dawes and you don’t at least play the next game, you have my permission to be completely disenchanted.
Also on a side note he had this to say about the Hossa brothers meeting up tomorrow night:
Quote:
Get ready for Hossa on Hossa tomorrow night. The comparisons are inevitable when the two brothers meet in Atlanta. For instance, one is the leading scorer in the NHL and among the brightest stars in the game. The other? Well, he owns skates, too.

Maybe the Hossa brothers could swap skates for the night

Orr's hurt?

perhaps Sather should look to make a move because Renney may be forced to play Dawes.

I just hope Dawes plays so well it would be impossible to get him out of the lineup..Kinda like what Prucha did last year...

I think Dawes Ward Hossa can be a nice fourth line until Ortmeyer comes back.

Yes...that guy...the one who broke Eric Godard and Wade Belak's noses and took a ton of punches from Andrew Peters and Brian McGrattan straight to the face. You got it right.

So he broke a nose...wow...and got pounded by two other goons....he still can't take a hit from Gelinas...

Orr has no balance, not shocked that he fell and got hurt.

Personally I wouldn't mind if the Rangers gave up on both Orr and Hossa. Hossa is somewhat useful on the penalty kill--but any offense he ever had has seemed to have disappeared. Putting Dawes on his line and hoping that they'll click seems to me to be kind of a reach at this point. Hall so far has not exactly made much of an impression either. In retrospect it almost seems as if Moore is the much better player--too bad there that Moore was too slight and not very good on faceoffs.

Dawes has to be the go to guy at this point. I don't see anyone getting called up.

What was the maybe Renney's a racist thing mean? Don't you think he'd have a problem w/Weekes then?
