Wally, that's great to hear. Hope everything continues to go smoothly. I would have posted sooner, but I thought this was another give Kessel and Tenkrat more icetime thread

I'm sure it will hurt to stand by the window and watch your kids do this all winter.

Drury and HG did a great job keeping us in check,
but it just isn't the same, not having the old guy mumbling in the background

Welcome Back

It's good to have him come along and drop the hammer too, as he did in today's sticky. Nicely done, and welcome back!

First and foremost, thanks for all the good wishes, prayers, and overall positive vibes ! You guys and gals are great friends whether we have ever actually met or not.

I'm doing pretty good. The angioplasty went well. Got the blockage cleared up. I am on very light duty for the next few weeks though. They had to surgically close up my femoral artery with a metal mesh/clip. That will stay in forever and should be funny as hell at the airport.

Going forward I'll be on a drug called Toprol XL for life I guess. But diet wise I can have just about anything in moderation. I can't exercise more than just a good brisk walk for the next few months. But the bright side , I can't shovel snow either !

So contrary to the belief of some, I do in fact have a heart. Saw it with my own eyes. Weird sensation , laying there while the feed a wire up into your heart and you can watch it.

But once again. thanks to all of you from the bottom of my repaired heart !
