Yeah, I was at Saturday's game against the Sharks -- Reich fought and lost. Killa, would you rather see no fight or see your team's fighter get beat down every time he drops the gloves? Just wondering.

Come on, Jeff Odgers really fired up the troops with the beatings he took.

Right on!

He wasn't that big or good as a fighter, but he was tough & willing to go. One of my favorite "no name" Bruins of all time.

I've seen Reich fight dozens of times - he may not win them all, but he shows up, and he doesn't lose that many. His fights are always high energy and get the crowd and his mates pumped. And his scraps always arise out of the intensity of his play - they are not of the "excuse me sir, care to have a go?" ilk. But even if he rarely fought, he has grit, he plays mean, and he is a pain in the *** to play against without being a yapper or standard issue "pest." But as far as fighting goes, tell me these losses about which you speak. I have seen him draw Mike Egener in a dandy, beat Dustin Penner in another toe to toe dandy, destroy Danny Richmond, draw Jordan Smith in a "fight of the year" caliber dust-up, lose big to Jordan Smith the next night, get edged out by Nathan Saunders in a spirited scrap, draw a big and tough Nick Tarnasky is an epic toe-to-toe war, and a bunch more.

Again, this kid is a hockey player you want in your system. Does not have the skills to play in the N, but I am sure all his coaches and teammates love having him on the team. I think he is a poor man's Chris Neil.

I know he had 2 assists last night, but he sure did look like he was having back pain. Very hesitant in all areas of the game.
Hopefully he gets back to 100 percent soon
