He's had a very slow start to the season (0 pts, -4) and really hasn't been the same physically since Mario leveled him in the playoffs a couple years back. He's the only physical presence on the Sabres' blueline so when he doesn't perform, it can be crippling for the club and very frustrating for fans. When he's not hitting, he's a mediocre stay-at-home defenseman. And now he's out for a month with a sprained knee ligament.
