Apparently we wasted our good bounces for the year in the last two games.

How the hell does Hatcher not score there!

can someone explain the fascination with putting Hatcher/Rathje together... and then putting Pitkanen/Picard together?

WHISKEY

TANGO

FOXTROT

why put Pitkanen with a guy who is having SERIOUS struggles back there... it completely ties up Pitkanen (our one dynamic dman) in running around in the zone cleaning up Picard's messes.

ugh.

I've watched San Jose before with their broadcast, but I've never heard this kind of penis eating. They're worse than the Pittsburgh announcers with Crosby.

hard to tell.... Picard is just flinging the puck around back there. we keep getting trapped because the dmen are just throwing the pucks around the boards into traffic. Picard numerous times.... Jones did it at least once that i noticed.

ugh.

Pitkanen needs to be with someone who will be moderately stable back there... he's not a pure dman and we need him to be more offensively involved at even strength.

I am sick of Cotsey and his Corner... Why can't Comcast show some cool hockey plays? Some hits, some one on one, goalie saves some fights. Who cares about this crap... I mean, who give a ****?

so you guys think they'll be able to score any in the second or do the usually 2nd period slump...i missed the first goals by san jose didnt know how legit they were but i really hope we get at least one and they get zero then its a game still going into the third.

other guys aren't good, but they're not nearly as spastic as Picard... much rather have him with Rathje and just tell Rathje to play centerfield and free up Pitkanen.

Tonight is so frustrating. Right away there is an immediate problem, we all know it. Putting Esche in net in one of the more dangerous teams in the league, and what do you know, he plays like crap the first period. Two, putting the beloved Boyd Kane in over Kyle Calder, who despite being a bum so far at least bring SOMETHING to the table. Meanwhile, we are never going to win a meaningful game this year if we don't get COMPETENT defenseman in there. We are asking too much of Pitkanen and Picard and Meyer because they have to be twice the players they are because the rest of the defense cannot do their job. I never thought I would miss Gauthier as much as I do, but seriously, we NEED to, NEED to, acquire someone with even a slight sense of stability because we can't rely on the opposing team to have a limp offensive game all the time. AHHHHH...

One pairing we haven't seen is Pits and Gauthier. When he comes back from the surgery, I can see them being an effective pair. Gauthier doesn't look for those big risky hits anymore so he could be the stability back there.
